Deborah Riley is licensed to practice clinical mental health counseling in the state of North Carolina. She also holds a certification in Counseling Theory. She received her undergraduate degree from Indiana University and her Master’s Degree from Capella University. Deborah spent more than 20 years in the non-profit sector, working with the impoverished as well as prison populations. She has nearly 30 years of experience working in adolescent ministry, including five years in a high school environment. Additionally, Deborah has worked as a mental health counselor treating individuals, couples, and families. Her areas of training include anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, and addiction. She also is trained in marital counseling, couples counseling, and LGTBQ counseling.
